The Tutorials below are written for Blender 2.49
and earlier versions of Blender
This
tutorial
series was created to assist Engineers and Artists get to grips with
the basics of 'Blender' and
be able to use it to create accurate 3D models. To begin with, it
ignores the myriad of
animation, texturing and photo-realistic rendering tools and
concentrates solely on getting started and producing accurate models
for engineering and artistic purposes.
This section of tutorials were written for Blender 2.4 series.

Modelling
A V-Roller |
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
The
V-Roller tutorial is a continuation of the 608 Bearing tutorial and
covers a few of Blenders tools not covered in the 608 Bearing tutorial.
This section uses the bearings as the basis to accurately
construct an assembly of components. It extracts model geometry from
the Bearings as a base to construct the other components. |
|
|
Part 1
- Modelling The V-Roller.
Part
2
- Constructing the axle, washer and nut.
Part
3
- Producing Detailed Threads.
Part
4
- Laying out the Assembly Drawing.
