Part 1 Precision Model a Steel Stock Library
This is the first video in the second Different Angle 3D practical project. This video looks at where you can source the standard dimensions for a range of off the shelf steel sections. It then moves on to show how three of the common hollow section shapes can be modelled with precision. The video highlights where vertex positions can be unexpectedly compromised with some of Blenders tools. At the end of the video I show how the different sections can be appended into a new Blender file to make the creation of accurate steel fabrication models a quick and efficient process.

Part 2 Precision Model a Steel Stock Library
This second video in Project 2 'Creating a Steel Stock Library for Blender 3's Asset Browser' looks at the techniques used to accurately model hot rolled steel sections such as angle iron, channel and H section universal beams. It looks straight forward, but accurately modelling the inner profile of a taper flange channel or beam requires more advanced techniques than you would think. The video therefore includes the use of custom orientations. The video then goes on to show how a collection of steel profiles can be appended into a development build of Blender 3 and turned into assets to use in the soon to be released Asset Browser.

Ready Made Small Section Steel Stock Library
Whilst it is a fairly straight forward process using the videos above to model your own steel stock components, it will be a lot of time and effort to model a reasonably sized collection of profiles and sizes. If time is an issue to you I have added my library of 135 of the smaller steel profiles to my Gumroad page. I have include a small fee for the collection and any money raised from sales will be used to help fund future tutorials and resources for this website.
